Sailor Moon Reboot Release
Sailor Moon was one of the first Anime series I watched. I watched it in German on RTL II since the dutch channels didn’t have an all day anime channel. This is also the way I learned to understand German.
I guess I was about 10 years at that time. Since Sailor moon is now 20 years old they celebrate it by reboot releasing the series. The release date at the moment is July 2014 (it has already been delayed twice). I’m really looking forward to it since the only version you can find online at the moment is like really bad quality since the video resolution wasn’t that good back then.
Producer Atsutoshi Umezawa, also offered up a more in-depth description of what we can expect from the series:
“This second anime adaptation of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon is not remaking the previous anime, but adapting [Naoko Takeuchi’s] original manga and starting from scratch again. It is quite a project. The entire staff has been working hard to show everyone an entirely new Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, so please look forward to it.“
