How to survive back to school
The summer holidays are almost over and for some of us it’s time to go back to school again. I personally always loved going back to school and meeting new people. But I know it’s also a bit scary if your in a new class and don’t know anyone yet. Here are some tips to survive going back to school.
6 Tips for going back to school
- Make friends the first day
Try to look around your class and try to connect with the people you want to be your friends on the first day or first week. At that time there are no groups yet so it’s really easy to make friends.
- Bring a water bottle with you.
You can easily fill it all day long and it’s a great way to save money and be healthy.
- Make your homework in class.
This may not be for everyone, but try to do your homework in class. This way you have less work after school and you can discuss it with your classmates or ask your teacher if you’re stuck.
- Bring your own lunch or go to the supermarket.
Lunch at school is often either really bad or expensive. If you are lucky you have a supermarket close to the school and you can go there on your break with a classmate. You can also pack your own lunch. This isn’t as boring as it sounds it doesn’t have to be just simple bread. Get creative and make a smoothie or salad.
- Prepare for the next day.
If you’re like me you don’t like getting up early. The best thing to prevent getting up early is to prepare for the next day by packing your back the evening before and laying out a cute outfit to wear on the next day. You can even prepare your lunch the day before and put it in the refrigerator.
- Don’t carry all your books with you.
Look at your schedule which books you need and only pack the essentials, why carry a big bag of books if your only gonna use one? I always try to pack as little as possible. This way you can also carry a cute small bag.
